Synnex awarded General Services Administration contract

Synnex Corp., a business process services company, announced it has been awarded a new U.S. General Services Administration Schedule 70 contract. The company says the contract gives Synnex resellers who have signed up to use the Synnex contract the ability to streamline government contracting.

United Airlines upgrading aircraft for some GSP flights

Some United Airlines customers traveling to and from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport next year will travel on the airline’s Bombardier CRJ-550 — a 50-seat aircraft featuring more legroom, storage and amenities than other regional aircraft flying today.

Construction jobs down slightly in S.C.

State construction employment numbers released from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show the number of construction jobs in South Carolina grew by 300 since September 2018. But since August 2019, the state lost 200 construction jobs, down from 101,500 to 101,300 in September.
