Earlier this week, Trump’s sock-puppet FCC chairman, Ajit Pai, announced that he will recommend approval of the disastrous T-Mobile/Sprint merger — a move that would raise prices, crush competition and disproportionately impact low-income folks and people of color.

We can’t let Pai get away with it. Could you chip in today to help us stop the T-Mobile/Sprint merger?

There’s no time to lose: Before the merger is officially approved, the Department of Justice needs to weigh in and we’re doing everything we can to make sure they understand how harmful this merger will be to people like you.

Reports have leaked that the staff attorneys at the DoJ are against this deal. The law and facts are on our side, but this will be a political decision — which is why we need your help to ramp up the pressure right now.¹

Here’s the truth: The T-Mobile/Sprint merger would hurt people. It would leave the United States with just 3 nationwide wireless providers — demolishing competition, raising prices and eliminating as many as 30,000 jobs across the country.

As if all of this weren’t enough, T-Mobile CEO John Legere got into bed with Trump to push this deal through. Since announcing the merger bid last year, Legere and other top company executives have spent $195,000 on hotel stays and other expenses at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C..² This sure looks like an attempt to curry favor with the Trump administration.
