Ascent is twice as long as Beautiful World, and dives much deeper. Eisenstein took 10 years to write Ascent, and the end result makes it appear that he was researching whenever he wasn't actually writing! The depth and breadth of the material he covers is breathtaking. He weaves together science, religion, education, economics, medicine, the environment, and much more.
But the thesis he uses to tie this vast web of information together is simple: all of our ills stem from our belief that we are separate from everything else. Once we realize our oneness with all things -- intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and even physically! -- we naturally act in ways that are harmonious, joyful and sustainable.

Powerful, accessible, useful Insight
Benjamin was terrific. He really listened to what my objectives were and tailored the session to meet those. I was aware in some ways of meeting myself for the first time, and in others of understanding concepts and words I thought I knew in a whole new way.
