More Season 5 This Weekend!
This weekend on a must-see episode of Goodtaste, we start our epic road trip with massive burgers, including one voted one of the very best by Texas Monthly magazine! Then, we visit one of the oldest buildings in Austin for phenomenal Indian food fired up in a real tandoor oven. We’ve rounded up some local spots in Austin, San Antonio and Houston happy to whip up a meal for you so you can take the night off from cooking. This weekend, we're uncorking a food-friendly Cab that's equally friendly on the wallet. The H3 Cabernet from Columbia Crest has the lush softness that Tanji loves about Washington state Cabernets. On the palate, you'll taste dark cherries and blackberries, plus vanilla from the oak barrel. It’s also one heck of a deal at about $12 a bottle! Goodtaste with Tanji is Airing in Dallas This Weekend!
Goodtaste with Tanji is now airing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on CW33!
This weekend, we pay a visit to one of my favorite neighborhood bakeries in San Antonio: BIRD Bakery. We dig into the enormous Monster Cookie that’s packed with peanut butter, hearty oats and chunks of chocolate. Then, we head to the Texas Honey Ham Company in Austin for you guessed it…sizzling honey-glazed ham! One of our favorite dishes? The hearty Hambone Soup made with seven varieties of beans simmered in an unctuous whole ham broth. Lastly, we travel to Houston for a meal at the bustling breakfast joint Pecan Creek Grille. Don’t skip the over-the-top eggs and housemade chorizo sausage served with all the fixings. You do not want to miss any of it! Now set those DVRs: Goodtaste is on Sunday at 10:00 am on CW 33.
