Tools and resources from around the internet health community.
| | Hello, For the last few months, we’ve been listening, learning and making plans. Mozilla is committed to a diverse, inclusive and equitable festival, so we must be vigilant in our pursuit and creation of such a community. It feels of utmost importance to reflect on what diversity, equity, and inclusion actually mean, as each are often used interchangeably. Acknowledging the important differences of each is a baseline for accountable systemic change. To truly embody these values, both at MozFest and within the internet health community, we must understand and embrace each of them uniquely and enthusiastically. | Before you scroll down to the rest of the newsletter, we also want to recognize that it’s been a hard week for Mozilla. But this won’t stop us from fighting for a healthy internet at the Mozilla Festival. We’re still in the planning stages and appreciate your input via a MozFest pre-survey. We expect many elements of the festival will move online and we aim to create an experience that's powerful and positive for all. You can also email us at festival@mozilla.org with your thoughts. |
