A breakdown about 10 days ago with only five acres left to do was discouraging but with some country boy engineering we finished today. Early corn was best ever but beans were less than average. So glad to be done! Early hay was good but had to start feeding by Sept. 1st. Had so much residue it was hard to get wheat sowed.
