Here are my tips for effective goal-setting: - Make your goals specific - Make your goals measurable - Give yourself a timeline for achieving your goals Rather than announce to your executive team that you’d like the business to “be more agile," identify what that really looks like. Maybe you’d like to institute new weekly touchpoints with department heads, wherein you review a specific set of market data—and act on it. Maybe you’d like to read 10 books about business management by Memorial Day. Maybe “agility” means something else entirely, and you’d like to meditate for 20 minutes each morning before discussing genetics with your grow team.
