Plunge yourself into the past at Chelsea History Festival

Fascinating talks, guided walks and the chance to explore the capital's oldest botanical oasis  it's the final days of Chelsea History Festival, and the line-up is destined to delight all you London culture vultures. 

From now until Sunday 27 September, Chelsea History Festival invites you to travel through time via a mix of in-person and online events. Learn about the life of Beethoven at National Army Museum. Watch the Band of the Scots Guard perform live at Chelsea Physic Garden. Or listen to Sir Michael Morpurgo discuss turning war into fiction from the comfort of your living room. 

With storytelling sessions, pond dipping and an interactive family show, Chelsea History Festival is great for kids. What's more, many of the events are free, so you can enjoy a thrifty weekend of family fun and become a history buff in the process.
