MPR News PM Update
Dec. 24, 2019

I’m dreaming of a mild Christmas. Mild temperatures will continue for Christmas Day. Highs should again reach the 30s for most of Minnesota. Low 40s are likely for the southeast again. The Twin Cities should flirt with 40 during the afternoon.

Tis’ the season for ‘most memorable’ lists. If you haven’t seen them yet, some of our reporters, producers and editors have rounded up their top picks for most memorable stories, imagesaudio and video. Take a trip down memory lane with us and revisit some of our most impactful journalism.

Review: Should ‘Christmas Carol’ be relevant for Dickens’ time, or ours? The Guthrie Theater’s annual holiday show isn’t strictly faithful to the author, but that may not be a bad thing. Check out this review by MPR News editor Eric Ringham.

Feeling down? Here are some acts of kindness sure to cheer. Earlier this month we posted a request: Tell us about an act of kindness you experienced this year. You sent us answers big and small, about friends who showed up during tough times and strangers who lent a helping hand. Have one of your own to share? Fill out the form at the bottom of the linked story!
