Taylor Swift, the pop music icon and everyone's favorite breakup singer, just topped Forbes' Celebrity 100 list after earning a whopping $170 million over the past 12 months. Swift owes much of her payday to her 1989 World Tour. Selling out stadiums to the tune of some $5 million per night in ticket sales, the pop superstar smashed the Rolling Stones’ North American touring record. She grossed $200 million on the continent en route to a total of a quarter of a billion dollars for the tour. The singer also shills for brands including Diet Coke, Keds and Apple. One Direction not only came in a far second, earning $60 million less than Swift, but the boy band had to split the earnings among its four members. Last year's king of the Celebrity 100 list, boxing champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather, got knocked down 55 spots, making way to crown Taylor Swift the new queen of cash.
