Taylor Swift’s Clever Tip for Flying Southwest Airlines

Greetings from hot and steamy New York! Yesterday, my family and I flew from LAX to JFK. We took the 4pm flight; here's my full trip report along with photos of every step along the way.

I'm glad we flew yesterday because some airlines have issued flight waivers due to east coast thunderstorms, which are expected later today, from Albany, NY (ALB) to Washington-National, DC (DCA). Hundreds of flights have already been canceled and it's only 11:40am ET.

It may not be something you think about often but carbon monoxide poisoning can happen, both at home and when you travel. As you may have read, three American tourists were found dead at a Sandals resort in the Bahamas and another has been hospitalized. The cause of their mysterious deaths has not yet been confirmed, although autopsies are currently underway.
