KPLR 11 honors local teachers with our Tools for Teachers program presented by Weber Chevrolet.

Michelle Calhoun is the daughter-in-law of a retired principal.  When she married into a family with educators, the bar was set.  But Michelle continuously raises that bar in the eyes of her mother-in-law which is why she is receiving $500 from Weber Chevrolet today.  Michelle teaches Kindergarten at Halls Ferry Elementary in the Ferguson Florissant school district, and she’s here with her mother-in-law who nominated her for our Tools For Teachers award, Ms. Georgia Green. Michelle is receiving our $500 award from Weber Chevrolet and our Tools for Teachers honor.
