Hi John,
Good morning! Rachelle here...
Are you overwhelmed by the thought of building out a full year of engaging art lessons for your students? Could you use a time-saving system that handles all the curricular planning so you can just focus on gathering materials and teaching?
TinkerLab's new program ART AROUND THE YEAR is here to help, and the doors are open!
🤔Wondering if it's for you? Let's get to it...
Art Around the Year is perfect for:
✨ PreK-3 classroom teachers who want a weekly plan of seasonal, open-ended, and engaging art lessons for their students.
✨ Homeschoolers who want weekly art explorations to make art time meaningful and exciting.
✨ And families who want to bring art sparks to an after-school time or weekend mornings.
Is this you?
Yes? Let’s keep going then…
What I want you to know about AATY is that it’s a full school year art program, and a one-time purchase, and you can refer to it this year and in the years to come.
It’s a supportive program that gives you the tools you need to create an engaging, seasonal art program for your students with a full year of creative activities your students will love.
And now that we’re sure you’re in the right spot, let me answer a few questions…
Question 1: How many lessons does this include?
36 lessons, one for each week of a typical school year, plus six bonus lessons for sub days, class parties, or longer school years.
Question 2: How long do I have access?
When you sign up you’ll get lifetime access.
Question 3: What can I accomplish with the help of AATY?
You’ll get guidance on implementing a robust seasonal art curriculum for your students with supply lists, clear instructions, and a system that will keep you organized.
Question 4: How does the art program work?
Art Around the Year is a series of 36 art and STEAM lessons, one for each week of a typical school year. Each lesson connects to the northern hemisphere seasons, holidays, or cultural celebrations to keep them relevant to the student's lives and experiences. Further, the lessons are grouped into months (September, October, etc.), four per month, so you can plan a month of art lessons in one sitting with the help of the monthly supply lists we've created to minimize planning on your end.
Question 5: How much time do I need to invest for this program to work?
Art Around the Year is designed to save you time. ⏰ Overall, you should plan on spending around three hours a month prepping. Here's how we'd recommend using your time efficiently:
One hour at the beginning of each month reviewing the supply list and gathering supplies, and 30 minutes a week testing lessons and organizing materials.

Question 6: Speaking of supplies, what special tools will I need for this?
Art Around the Year is a digital program, so you'll need a computer to access the lessons. In addition, we recommend access to a printer for printing lessons, bonus letters, and supplemental PDFs included with roughly half the lessons.
As a former classroom teacher, I know how limited supplies and budgets can be in some schools, and our projects are chosen to both provide variety to your art curriculum (drawing, painting, printmaking, building, etc). and utilize commonly available tools. Each month you'll see a list of basic supplies like copy paper and pencils and specialty supplies like painter's tape and paper lunch bags. Many of the specialty supplies can be gathered over time from families in a classroom donation box or replaced with other similar materials.
Everything inside Art Around the Year has been created to help you quickly create a seasonal art curriculum that your students will love (while saving you heaps of time).
I can’t wait to see you inside!
