---|
| Team dsm-firmenich PostNL continued what has been a successful week of racing so far, following two stage wins at the Tour de France Femmes, with an opening stage Team Time Trial victory at the Tour of Denmark. The short, flat and fast 13.7 kilometre parcours meant that a well-drilled team performance was key to success today and the guys performed out on the course. Crossing the line early in the day, the team sat in the hot seats throughout, as team after team came home slower before the eventual second place finishers crossed just a few hundreds of a second down on Team dsm-firmenich PostNL's time. But that was all they needed to take victory today, putting Tobias Lund Andresen into the leader's jersey on home soil heading into tomorrow's second stage.
