| It has been a Tour de France that has not always had luck on our side, but through all that we faced together here, morale remained high and our fighting spirit shone through. We couldn't be more proud of how the guys picked themselves up; soldiering on and recovering from their own wounds, giving everything towards the team's goals.
We have seen the team ride bravely through the tough final week and a half, choosing our battles wisely while looking to save as much energy as possible. This saw us claim an excellent third place on stage 19 with Casper Pedersen. Expertly infiltrating a mid-race breakaway that bridged to those ahead, Pedersen valiantly attacked multiple times in the finale, trying to break the will and the stranglehold of his fellow breakaway companions. It wasn't to be for the stage win in the end, but the ever combative Pedersen broke clear in the finale to take a brilliant third place in Libourne - his first ever Grand Tour podium. It's a result that is testament to the team’s attitude that they showed over the 21 days of action.
After that, it was time to give it our all one last time on the final day in Paris and the sprint finish. Seeing the Team DSM train hit the front on the famous Champs-Élysées filled us with immense joy, and it was great to see the guys fight for each other and the team jersey until the very end.
We are incredibly proud of our riders and staff, both at the race and those working hard behind the scenes at our headquarters, for giving their all to be the best that we can be here in France and beyond.
Finally before we sign off, we want to share our thanks for all of your support during the race. Whether that be the deafeningly loud shouts and clapping at the side of the road, or all of your messages of support on social media. It means a lot to us and helps inspire us while we're out there racing.
