Team Sunweb Development program extend with Nils Sinschek and sign Hannes Wilksch

Team Sunweb Development program announce the contract extension of Nils Sinschek and the signing of young German talent Hannes Wilksch. Sinschek has extended for one more year, until the end of 2020, while Wilksch will ride in the team's colours for the next two years.

Nils Sinschek (NED)

Sinschek has had a good first season with Development Team Sunweb, helping to contribute to the team’s success while also achieving some good personal results too. A strong ninth place on GC at the brutally tough Le Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc highlights Sinschek’s willingness to dig deep and his competency on the climbs. The young Dutch rider followed that up with an impressive third place at the U23 time trial national championships, showing his ability against the clock. Looking ahead to next year, Sinschek aims to keep progressing and continue his development as a rider.

Hannes Wilksch (GER)

A prodigious talent, Wilksch has performed well both on the road and on the track in the junior ranks. With the German national team he was part of the squad that set the new world record in the team pursuit at the recent junior track cycling world championships, highlighting both his explosiveness and his ability against the clock. Furthermore, he won the overall title at the difficult LVM Saarland Trofeo in his own country earlier in the year, showing his resilience and ability to deal with tricky and rolling parcours.
