The dramatic growth of telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on the physician-patient relationship. Joy L. Lee, PhD, a research scientist at Regenstrief Institute and an assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine shared methods for promoting a strong physician-patient relationship during telemedicine visits. The legislation would give green cards to 25,000 nurses and 15,000 physicians, ensuring that rural areas especially have the appropriate number of healthcare professionals.
