Time Out No. #63 | Tuesday 15 March 2022

We’ve just launched the Time Out Index 2022, our fifth poll of city dwellers around the world, and we want to find out all about life in London post-pandemic. What’s the restaurant scene like? The art and nightlife? How easy is it to date? To make friends? Plus where, dare we say it, is the coolest part of town? Take our five-minute survey, and at the end we’ll tell you exactly how much you love your city.

‘A Number’

Thinking of a spontaneous last-minute trip to the theatre this week? The Old Vic’s Paapa Essiedu and Lennie James-starring revival of Caryl Churchill’s devastating cloning drama is just an hour long. Catch it before it ends on Saturday. Old Vic. Until Mar 19.

‘Wuthering Heights’

Emma Rice’s roiling, elemental adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel of love and jealousy on the Yorkshire Moors is a truly awesome thing, from Lucy McCormick’s wild, wild Catherine to its tumultuous live score. This is your last week to see it. National Theatre. Until Mar 19.

‘An Unfinished Man’

Dipo Baruwa-Etti’s dreamy drama about a man who turns to witchcraft to cure his sense of ennui extended its run after rave reviews. But this week really is the final time to catch this haunting play and its very cool watery set. Yard Theatre. Until Mar 19.
