Street Talk understands Brookfield‘s private equity dealmakers have tapped out the auction for Loscam’s Asia Pacific business two months after the New York-headquartered group made a last-ditch effort.

This column reported the auction was on its last legs when Brookfield’s dealmakers sidled in with an offer for a minority stake in November. It is unclear who – if anyone – is still active in the auction after the Canadian’s departure.
