Hi John, Telstra has seen a big drop in both its revenue and profits for the financial year 2017 compared to the previous year, according to full-year results released today.
The poor Telstra results, in which the company profit barely matched what it pays to shareholders in dividends has resulted in what many had flagged as inevitable - an announcement that the big telco will savagely slash the 2018 dividend by a whopping 30%.
