Some Louisiana schools must wait to post Ten Commandments in classrooms

Schools in five parishes named in a lawsuit must wait to post the Ten Commandments in classrooms until Nov. 15, when a federal judge is expected to rule on whether the law requiring it violates the U.S. Constitution. The parishes include East Baton Rouge and Livingston.

Gov. Jeff Landry signed a law last month, making Louisiana the only state to require public schools to post the Ten Commandments.
