Good evening,

It looks to be the first of what will no doubt be many.

Webjet is preparing to go cap in hand in front of investors in an emergency capital raising, after the coronavirus has pushed its revenue off a cliff.

A select few of the company's most faithful insto shareholders got the call from management on Thursday, letting them know it could take the board a few days to figure out what to do.

One live option would be to do a deal with the devil and try and progress a couple of private equity-backed funding proposals that are on the table.

Meanwhile, in a welcome change amid the COVID-19 chaos, there are a couple of new sale processes under way, and both are taking place in the Sunshine State.

The first is a 1000-plus bed workforce accommodation site owned by ASX-listed Decmil, while the second is a 3500-person regional credit union.

Finally, the under-pressure Australian Associated Press was thrown a lifeline on Thursday and we reveal which Sydney-based advisory firm is helping it out.

Happy reading,

Sarah Thompson, Anthony Macdonald and Tim Boyd
