Tesla workers allege intimidation, coercion

The National Labor Relations Board has received four complaints that allege Tesla's confidentiality agreement "coerces and intimidates" assembly workers into nonunionization. A Tesla representative says the agreement seeks only to protect proprietary information and does not bar workers from discussing unionization.

Ontario tests program for basic income
Ontario is guaranteeing $12,616 in annual income for 4,000 residents as part of an experiment to support low-income people while they seek work and cannot afford benefits. The Netherlands and Kenya reportedly are debating such a program, while Finland is testing one with 2,000 residents.
