Thank You Volunteers and Interns!
There are not enough "thank yous" to adequately express our gratitude to the volunteers who continue to raise their hands and help Art in Action fulfill our mission to"Empower Children Through Arts Education." As our world strives to heal and recover, so many believed in the healing powers that creating art provided students as they transitioned back into the classroom in Fall 2021. Throughout April we were thrilled to honor the contributions of our volunteers and interns during National Volunteer Month.

AiA warehouse volunteers, masked and socially distanced, sorted art materials and packed ArtBoxes so that over 75,000 children could have art in their classrooms this year. School coordinators and teachers across the nation organized their parents to ensure that art was offered to their children. Interns carved time from their school schedules to write social media content and engage a broader audience to help us increase outreach to more schools and our network of supporters. Event volunteers stood masked as they welcomed event patrons to our scaled-down fundraiser.  Countless hours have been invested in supporting children's creativity and resilience through art. YOU make it happen and we are grateful for each and every one of you.  From our hearts, we thank you.

Spotlight on AiA Scholarship School  |  Bozeman Online Charter

This month we're thrilled to highlight one of our scholarship school recipients, Bozeman Online Charter School.Their elementary teacher, Ally Pitts, shares the impact art has on her students.

"Many Montana schools do not have art teachers so, as a classroom teacher, Art in Action makes art meaningful and possible for our students."

Gifts from supporters like you enable Art in Action to provide our programs to more classrooms like Ally's.
