Thank you to everyone who recently donated to Foodwise in support of healthy farms, families, and communities! With generous contributions from 119 supporters, we raised $71,655 toward our $75,000 year-end goal for Foodwise farmers markets, food access initiatives, and education programs. In 2025, we're resolved to:
- Keep our farmers markets thriving, supporting more than 140 small, sustainable farms and local food businesses, and providing incubation opportunities for dozens of BIPOC, women, and immigrant food entrepreneurs.
- Ensure access to fresh, healthy food for thousands of Bay Area residents through programs like Market Match, which helps families on a budget make the most of their food dollars at the farmers market.
- Provide free food education and job opportunities for thousands of San Francisco youth, and expand adult education so that our community can share food wisdom and co-create a connected and resilient local food system together.
YOU make this work possible. Your partnership and support are critical to creating the fair, regenerative, and delicious food future we need.
