Hello, This is my favorite email to send every year: a thank you! On behalf of the whole Mozilla Foundation, I wanted to thank you for helping make the online world a better place for all in 2022. Here are just a few of the people and projects that you helped support in the last year. As we look towards 2023, our team is already planning more content and resources that are designed to help you navigate this complex and ever-changing tech landscape. Our goal is to set us all on a better path towards a healthier internet through campaigns and research, while also equipping you with the information you need today through our Privacy Not Included guides, the IRL podcast and more. As we start a new year, we’re inspired by the kind messages of support received by the Mozilla Foundation’s Donor Care team—and I thought I’d share just a few of them with you: “This is a good moment to say thank you to everyone at Mozilla. While it has taken me some time to ‘know what I have to do to find a solution, the efforts have always taught me something new and provided the solution required. I also appreciate the ‘team effort’ to let your clients and others know what is going on. Keep up the great work. Thank you very much.” — Ken “I just had to reply thank you to your thank you!.” — Dominique “I will spread the word! Thanks for the important work you do.” — Tris “I would like to thank you for all the work you guys have done. Please keep up with the hard work.” — Gabriel “Y’all are a great organization. I know y’all mean well. I truly do appreciate the follow up…” — Bud |
Thanks for being with us, and I hope the new year brings good things for you and yours. Yours in community, Kevin Hill Head of Online Fundraising, Mozilla Foundation |
