Thank You For Everything!

With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting everyday life, we thank you for the support you've shown to the AKR family and staff. We trust and hope that this virus has not compromised your health or any of your loved ones. We are again happy to report that there have been no positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Roatan so far.
We want to give you an update on the funds we received to assist our employees. Recent donations to the COVID-19 AKR Employee Assistance Fund helped to raise over $10,000! With the money, we were able to prepare 230 bags of groceries, one for each staff member. Many of our employees have up to four dependents each, and the groceries they received can supplement their family's needs for at least two weeks. We distributed the bags of groceries on Tuesday, April 14th, 2020, and it put a smile on everyone's faces!

We again thank Patricia and the Fabian family for initially organizing this campaign for the staff. And to Christopher for allowing donations to be possible for our team through Care4Communites. We are grateful for the continued work of Care4Communites in the community of Sandy Bay and even now during a worldwide pandemic.
