 South Australians have shown amazing community spirit, with thousands of ABC Adelaide listeners digging deep for the ABC Gives appeal supporting Foodbank.
What a great day we had broadcasting live from Foodbank at Edwardstown for ABC Gives. Special guests, incredible can constructions, including an octopus and a throne for 'King' David Bevan, plus lots of fun were the highlights of the day. You can enjoy the photos below.
Thank you to everyone who generously shared cans of food, rice and pasta and donated online to help end hunger this holiday season.
With your help, over 210,000 meals have been donated so far. What an incredible result!

The popular band expanded this year and included ABC Radio Adelaide's Deb Tribe and Jules Schiller on lead vocals, Nikolai Beilharz on drums, dancers Stacey Lee and Caroline Winter, backed up by ABC Classic's Russell Torrance and Chris McLoughlin from ABC NEWS. A huge shout out to everyone involved.
