Eurozone inflation data and Japanese industrial production will also have their say. Salesforce and Dollar Tree report earnings this week, both of which will give us a clue about the overall economy. Spot gold rose 0.5% to $2,013.69 an ounce, while gold futures expiring in December rose 0.6% to $2,014.35 an ounce. Spot silver gained 1.4% to $24.65 per ounce; platinum rose 0.2% to $932.81. Palladium rose 0.6% to $1,075.01 per ounce. Copper dipped after two weeks of strong gains. Twitter X is set to lose $75 million in revenue as advertisers withdraw spending. Costs for renewables have plummeted, and growth is exceeding expectations.
