That 22-story tower in Lake Charles is finally coming down

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Staff writer

Good morning, Acadiana Business newsletter readers. It's time for headlines.

Towering over downtown Lake Charles with its blown out windows covered by decaying wooden boards, the Capital One Tower has served as a stark reminder of the havoc wreaked on the southwest Louisiana city by Hurricane Laura four years ago to both residents and those traveling by on Interstate 10.

Now, after years of hand-wringing over its future, the tower is meeting its final fate: a scheduled implosion.

You can read the story here.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
