At Bisnar Chase, we take pride in leading the legal industry. We are delighted to share that several team members have been chosen for leadership positions within their legal associations.

• Attorney Tom Antunovich was elected as the 2024 Parliamentarian of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA).
• Attorney Michael Teiman was appointed as Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Tort and Trial Section Secretary.
• Administration Supervisor Danielle Olson was selected as the 2024 Vice President of Administration for the Orange County Paralegal Association (OCPA).
• Litigation paralegal Allen Sifuentes joined the OCPA board.

Congratulations to all for securing these essential positions. We wish them all luck and support in helping to shape the legal landscape over the next year.

Winning cases and supporting our clients are important to us. But we also believe in using our resources to help people in need throughout our community.

One of our most successful initiatives is Backpacks4Life. Several times a year, our team members volunteer their time to fill backpacks with essential supplies for the underprivileged. We work with other charities across the area to ensure they are distributed to those who most need them.

This Christmas, we also participated in a program called Adopt-a-Family, buying presents and groceries to brighten the holiday season for families in our area. We take pride in supporting our community, and our charitable efforts will only increase in 2024.

B|C Makes the Best Law Firms in America List 2024

Bisnar Chase has received national recognition after being named one of the best law firms in America for 2024.

The firm was selected for the 2024 edition of the U.S. News Best Lawyers list under Best Law Firms for mass tort litigation/class actions, personal injury litigation, and product liability litigation for plaintiffs.

Best Lawyers also produces an annual list assembling the best individual attorneys. Bisnar Chase's partners—Brian Chase, Scott Ritsema, Gavin Long, and Steve Hilst - made this list, while Tom Antunovich was named on the publication's 2024 Ones to Watch list.

These peer-reviewed honors recognize our commitment to providing superior representation for our clients.

Last year, Bisnar Chase was ultra-active at conventions and events nationwide.

We have run exhibits and attended various events, including the American Association for Justice convention, the TBI Med Legal 2023 Convention, the Consumer Attorneys of California convention, and many more.

A Banner Year for Settlements and Verdicts!

It has been a big year for Bisnar Chase, with our attorneys and support staff sealing a series of significant trial verdicts and settlements.

We have recovered multiple seven- and eight-figure settlements and verdicts in recent months alone.

Our employment team, led by attorney Ian Silvers, has also recently secured multiple seven- and eight-figure wins for victims of workplace violations.

Everything we do is for our clients. We appreciate how important our job is, and we are delighted to have secured so many life-changing results this year.

Supporting Students With the Branch Out Scholarship

Every year, our firm gives out scholarship awards to two deserving students. We invite applicants to send us essay submissions, and we read every one of them.

Our inbox is flooded with many inspiring stories and creative tales, and the decision becomes more challenging each year. We choose one winner in June and another in December, with each student receiving $1,000 toward their education and another $500 to donate to a charity of their choice.

ICYMI: A New Partner and Two New Attorneys

With the cases coming thick and fast in 2023, our team at Bisnar Chase is evolving to meet the demands and ensure that every one of our clients gets the attention and support they deserve.

First, experienced attorney Steve Hilst, a valued member of the firm and a top-performing litigator for many years, became a partner at Bisnar Chase. He joins existing partners Brian Chase, Scott Ritsema, and Gavin Long, adding to a strong leadership group that has expertly steered the firm to its current standing.

We also welcomed two talented new attorneys to the roster. As passionate and dedicated lawyers with huge victories on their resumes, Michael Teiman and Jake Cohen both fit right in at Bisnar Chase. They have hit the ground running, doing excellent work and securing outstanding client results.
