Good afternoon,

It was derby delight for PNE last night as Deepdale’s biggest league crowd of the season - 18,740 - witnessed Cameron Archer score the game’s only goal.

Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe felt his side were deserving of victory over Blackpool, saying: “I was pleased with the result and pleased for the fans – that one was certainly for them."

With a swing of his left boot, Archer has joined that exclusive club of PNE players who have put the ball in the Blackpool net and earned lifelong adulation from the faithful.

Enjoy the rest of your day,

Julia
