It’s a big week for all things wealthtech at Financial Planning as we’re celebrating both the release of Financial Planning’s annual tech survey and the in-person return of the INVEST wealthtech conference!
This week’s newsletter is coming to you semi-live from the New York Hilton Midtown where a full house of some of the biggest names in wealth management are gathering for INVEST, and it has been great getting to know some of the folks I’ve met (or bothered) via video chat in real life. Among the more than 40 panels on tap during the two-day event is a presentation of this year’s exclusive tech survey findings, hosted by myself and Kerry Gross, director of research Intelligence at Arizent.
In this year’s survey, advisors say they are embracing technology like never before, but they continue to have a difficult time navigating the crowded marketplace and lack confidence in their decision making. The good news is that wealth managers are willing to spend to improve, something that insiders tell us has been missing from the industry in years past.
