Find your “Big Idea.”
The good news is…
You don’t necessarily have to invent a product that’s totally new.
Because coming up with a Big Idea has just as much, if not more, to do with how you frame and present your offer…
… as it does with the specific item or result that you provide.
Here’s what I mean…
The 4-Step “BIG Idea” Formula:
1. You Must Be Contrarian
It pays to go against the grain. Ex.
In 2001, when everyone thought you had to do six 90-minute cardio workouts per week to lose fat…
I came along with Turbulence Training and said: “Never do cardio again.”
Trust me, I got plenty of hate... and called all sorts of names...
But I believed what I was saying, proved it, and profited.
2. You Must Be Specific
Ex.
The 4-Hour Work Week.
Not “shorter work week”.
Not “maybe less time work week”.
4 Hours.
3. You Must Have a Particular Articulation
Ex.
Millionaire Morning Routine rolls off the tongue. Granted, so does the 5am Club ... and Morning Miracle...
That’s a big part of why those approaches became so popular.
4. KISS: Keep It Short, Silly
The headline on your sales copy can be long...
But the shorter your program name...
The catchier (and almost always better).
Ex.
P90X.
They absolutely nailed this one.
Four characters is about as short as it gets

BONUS points to P90X for using the concept of “muscle confusion” in their marketing — as a unique mechanism for why their program was better and more effective than anything else.
At the time, no one else was talking about that…
So it stood out as somewhat contrarian.

You now have a killer framework to follow that will help you come up with Big Ideas.
I highly recommend playing around with this when you have some down time over the next couple weeks.
Make sure to constantly test your new ideas...
And always be “loud & proud” of your contrarian beliefs.
