Stocks continued to decline on Friday after losses throughout Thursday's session. Equities were hit hard as investors responded to concerns around the Omicron variant as well as the Federal Reserve's hint at possible interest rate increases next year. The Nasdaq saw a sell-off on Thursday and on Friday both the S&P and the Dow experienced sharp declines, with the Dow dropping over 1% of shares from heavy hitters like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. |
