The S&P 500 and Dow Jones added 0.1% in Wednesday's trading session while the Nasdaq fell 0.2%. Today, futures are down heading into the open, with S&P 500 contracts down 0.3% in the premarket.
Fed Feelz
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell told lawmakers on Wednesday that the Federal Reserve is in no hurry to rollback its monthly asset purchases. He also said the economy is "still a ways off" from the central bank's targets.
He also maintained that inflation would call off, even though he's been saying that for months and it's only accelerated over that time. Powell is set to testify again during today's trading session.
