US Stocks sunk on Wednesday after an economic report showed record levels of inflation ahead of yesterday's opening bell. The Nasdaq fared the worst with a 1.7% decline while the Dow lost 0.7% and the S&P 500 fell 0.8%. The small-cap Russell 2k was also down and closed the session with a 1.6% gain.

 

Futures are pointing to a higher open in today's session. S&P 500 futures are showing a 0.3% gain, and Dow contracts are up 0.1%.
