FCA will not detect all vehicles and objects. FCA may not work on winding or hilly roads, during certain weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog and any other times of limited visibility. FCA engages at 10km/h. The specific features of FCA are only activated within certain respective speed ranges. FCA will not detect all pedestrians under certain conditions. See Owner’s Manual for detailed descriptions of example conditions in which FCA may not detect a pedestrian. FCA is not a substitute for safe driving. Always check your surroundings when driving. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations. 2When the vehicle is parked, Safe Exit Assist (SEA) can alert occupants planning to exit the vehicle when a vehicle is approaching from behind. When Child Locks are active, SEA prevents the rear doors from opening if a vehicle approaching from behind is detected. SEA may not detect every vehicle and may not avoid an accident. SEA is not a substitute for attentive operation of the vehicle. Always monitor the vehicle’s surroundings before any passengers exit the vehicle. See Owner's Manual for important details and limitations. 3Do not solely rely on Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) to determine whether rear seats are empty. Always make sure you check rear seats before exiting the vehicle. ROA may not detect a rear occupant in certain situations, including where no or little movement is detected or if the sensor is obscured. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual for further limitations and information regarding ROA. 4Never rely exclusively on the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, it is not a substitute for attentive driving or driver using the brakes to avoid a collision. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm rear clearance. There are limitations to the function, detection, range and clarity of the system. The system may not detect every vehicle and may not avoid every collision. This system does not detect stationary objects. Vehicle must be in reverse and has to be travelling at 10 km/h or less.
