Dear Yogi,

What's the most fundamental principle of anatomy? Every body is different!

While we all have a physical framework of bones, joints, muscles and fascia in common, each body is unique and every yogi’s practice will look different in order to nurture, strengthen and challenge their individual anatomy.

As we seek unity within yoga, we must recognise these differences. Every body can unite in the practice, and be celebrated in their extraordinary expression of each asana. Learn all about yours (or your students) in our classes and articles below!

"I love doing less so that we can explore more deeply to really know our bodies. Your approach to movement feels like a nice balance between rebellion and creativity, with structure and commitment. It's so helpful to view our conversation with our bodies as a negotiation.”
