The best and worst states for physicians

Many of the best states for physicians are located in the Midwest, according to an analysis by personal finance website WalletHub. South Dakota was ranked as the best state for physicians, followed by Nebraska, Idaho, Iowa, and Minnesota. New Jersey was ranked as the worst state, followed by New Jersey, Rhode Island, New York, and Hawaii.

It has been a fascinating journey, and even though you have been on staff at Better Care Medical Center for close to 10 years, you have very little idea of how things operate in the overall functioning of the hospital (this includes its myriad stakeholder groups: patients, physicians, nursing, nonclinical staff, operations, community groups, boards, etc.). While there were many challenges and frustrations, they were outnumbered by the success stories and triumphs.
