Following the war in Ukraine, U.S. markets experienced a quick sell-off in risk related assets, while safe-haven assets (such as USD and gold) outperformed. All three major indices ended Wednesday's sessions with slight gains, with the Dow up 1.79%, the Nasdaq up 1.62%, and the S&P 500 up 1.86%

 

Futures for the Dow, S&P 500, and the Nasdaq look to be pointing towards a lower open today, with all experiencing subtle losses in the pre-market session this morning.
