The best job creation record in history 2021 was a year of historic job growth. Since President Biden took office, the unemployment rate has dropped to 3.9%, the largest calendar year decrease in history and the lowest since the pandemic began. We added 199,000 jobs in December, bringing the total for 2021 to 6.4 million jobs.
