Here's what's going on in the market this week:

 

 

U.S. stocks continued to closed the week with gains. Although the results fell short of the NASDAQ’s 8.2% surge in the week prior, this marked the second positive week in a row for U.S. stocks despite fear of steep interest-rate increases down the line. 

 

Futures were were mixed in the pre-market session this morning, with Dow Jones futures up only a very slight 0.01%, S&P 500 futures showing no change at all, and Nasdaq 100 futures down 0.07%.

 

 

Even though digital stockbroker company Robinhood attracted a lot of controversy over the Wall Street Bets fiasco last year, their app is still a great place to invest in fractional shares and removes the capital shaped barrier to entry for small time investors.
