Democracy and truth itself are hanging in the balance. If you feel like it’s time to tune out now that Trump lost, the reality is only that total catastrophe was averted.

We still have destructive political factions in this country; some want to shred our institutions, some want to go back to use them to enrich themselves and block social progress.

And the media that most people are getting is allied against the public. Now is the time: if you haven’t stepped up this year to support the incredible journalists who we work with, please do it now.

You’ll be joining a group of people who know that good journalism is the lifeblood of a democracy and a better future.
