John Bel Edwards this morning, Matt Sledge reports. Did they hit their magic number of 44,976 signatures? On a recall-related note, Tony McAuley caught up with the New Orleans business leader behind the recall campaign’s money.

Rolled: You’ve probably noticed the streams of toilet paper draped from trees, power lines and light poles after a parade has passed. Doug MacCash writes that some of that paper remains along the St. Charles Avenue parade route, swaying in the wind, weeks after we bid adieu to Mardi Gras 2023.
Pels hanging on: Clinging to fading playoff hopes, our Pels have another big game tonight against a very beatable San Antonio Spurs team.
