“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” —James Baldwin Friend, Throughout the history of the United States, Black folks have been enslaved, abused and exploited by a system of white-controlled power — and the media system has played a key role. It’s time to reckon with this past, and build something new. That’s why, for the past year, we’ve been working on a very exciting project that makes the case for — and envisions a future with — media reparations. Today, we want to share this work with you.
