Controversial insurance changes: Gov. Jeff Landry inked a series of bills Tuesday that officials hope will lure more insurance companies to Louisiana. The controversial changes make it easier for companies to drop policy holders and raise rates. Sam Karlin has been tracking this issue.
On the road again: Much has been made over Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s travels. John Stanton over at Gambit writes that the mayor has been out of town 36 days since last November. On Tuesday we reported that Cantrell was headed to Canada for a climate summit.
Menacing: Kenner Mayor Michael Glaser and garbage magnate Sidney Torres IV are sniping at each other again. This time, each accuses the other of being a “menace,” Blake Paterson reports.
