• Protect the freedom of artists like Lorie Smith, whose case (303 Creative v. Elenis) was just heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on December 5th. But Lorie isn’t alone—other artists like New York photographer and blogger Emilee Carpenter and Colorado cake artist Jack Phillips are also waiting for justice. 




• Defend the free speech of individuals like Maggie DeJong, a former college student who was silenced by her university after students complained that her speech was "harmful." And Dr. Andrew Fox, who was dismissed as a volunteer chaplain by the Austin Fire Department because government officials disagreed with his Christian views that he expressed on his personal blog.




• Save the lives of babies and support mothers—in the aftermath of the great victory in Dobbs (overturning Roe v. Wade), the fight for the unborn has now largely moved to the states, and ADF is working with over a dozen states to protect their ability to defend life through legislation. We’re also taking on the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in a first-of-a-kind lawsuit challenging the agency’s reckless approval of dangerous chemical abortion drugs that have harmed women and girls.




• Stand with parents who have been forced to defend their children from radical policies that deceive parents about the health and safety of students. Parents are also facing concerted efforts to push dangerous race-based and destructive gender ideologies on their children, which create division and confusion, pitting students against each other and against their parents.




• Represent the rights of faith-based ministries that face attacks from the government on their liberty to operate according to their Christian beliefs. For example, New York government agencies have repeatedly threatened to investigate and punish New Hope Family Services because of the adoption provider’s religious beliefs. In another case, Wyoming Rescue Mission had been threatened by state and federal officials for hiring employees who share the ministry’s religious beliefs, until ADF stepped in and successfully represented the group.

Don’t be silent in the face of these attacks.

Assaults on your God-given freedoms and constitutional rights are intensifying. Just look at the misnamed "Respect for Marriage Act," which has been signed into law by President Biden.

Activists will likely use the bill against faith-based organizations that work closely with government, such as adoption and foster care placement agencies. And it gives the IRS another potential basis for withholding tax-exempt status from non-profits that hold and live out Christian beliefs about marriage.

The religious freedom "protections" in the Act are little more than window-dressing and do not do enough to fully protect religious freedom. 

Bottom line: Individuals and faith-based ministries will face increased threats of government punishment just for holding fast to their beliefs.

Our opposition is powerful, aggressive, well-funded, and includes radical opponents of freedom in the Biden administration, activists at state agencies, and national groups like the ACLU. 

Religious freedom, free speech, the sanctity of life, parental rights, and God’s design for marriage and family are all under constant assault.
