The Crucial Art of Time Management

I’m not much for productivity hacks, so when I read about “time-chunking,” I was skeptical. The article I read said to-do lists were almost useless. Why? Because you don’t designate when you would complete them. Rather than simply listing tasks, the piece recommended blocking out time in your schedule for each objective.

I tried it and it made a big difference.

The experience illustrated the importance of time management. We might have lofty plans, but if we don’t control our schedules, how we spend our time, those plans rarely come to fruition. Taking Control of Your Time is a resource designed to help you make the mcultost of your most valuable commodity. This 18-page resource will help you understand how to build and balance a busy schedule, making time for rest while ensuring that the important things get done.

Of course, even if we meticulously plan our days, they are always subject to interruptions. This refreshing piece by Ruth Moon Mari reminded me that God’s providence ultimately directs us, especially in a time when disruption has become the norm.
