Dear subscribers,
Today, we take a look at the good and the bad from Saturday's football game against Michigan State, and SportsMonday reflects on Harbaugh's coaching during the game. Additionally, we take a look at the crime statistics from Saturday's game day. We also investigate Gov. Rick Snyder's public statement about his knowledge of outbreaks of Legionnaires' disease, which came about one month after he learned about the outbreaks. Finally, we take a look at the comeback of Croc's in high fashion.
All the best,
The Michigan Daily
Gov. Rick Snyder learned about outbreaks of Legionnairesâ disease in Flint one month prior to January 2016, which is when he publicly stated he was informed, according to the Detroit Free Press. Harvey Hollins III, one of Snyderâs aides, provided the information in a testimony on Friday.
Amid an upset loss to Michigan State University on Saturday, game day saw a total attendance of 112,432 at the Big House and several security violations.
According to crime statistics sent to the Daily by Diane Brown, spokeswoman for the Universityâs Division of Public Safety and Security, there were four arrests â two for disorderly conduct, one for assault and one minor in possession charge.
Â
Saturday night, for the first time since he arrived in Ann Arbor, fans were given reasonable cause to doubt what the outcome of Harbaughâs grand vision for the program will be.
I would prefer to live in a world where the term âluxurious Crocsâ remains exclusively oxymoronic.
